HirePitch policy
Terms of service
External counsel review of these terms is a launch gate that is not yet complete. The commitments below describe how the product actually behaves today; wording may tighten after review, and no candidate fee or stored value may ever be introduced.
HirePitch sells one thing: a standardized digital placement service for employers.
Who pays
Employers pay for placement. Candidates never pay, and there is no candidate subscription, inbox fee, or paid ranking for candidates. HirePitch is not an applicant tracking system and does not make employment decisions.
What a placement buys
Publishing starts at $95 and the selected placement level changes in exact $5 increments. Boosting charges only the difference between your listing’s current effective value and the new valid level you select. The amount decays linearly to the base amount over 30 days, and every listing expires 60 days after it first goes live. Boosting never extends that expiry, and a position estimate is never a reservation.
No stored value
There are no credits, wallets, balances, prepaid packs or escrow. Every purchase is a direct payment for a specific placement, and every refund returns to the original payment method.
Publication and trust
A listing becomes live only after Dodo Payments sends a verified successful-payment webhook. No administrator approval is required. Reported or risky content may later be suspended under the acceptable-use rules.
Applications
Candidates get a rolling seven-day allowance with rollover to a cap of 15, at most three applications to one employer per seven days, and an automatic slot refund if an employer does not respond within seven days. Unanswered applications count against an employer’s public response rate.
Acceptable use
No scams, off-platform payment requests, discriminatory requirements, or content that attempts to manipulate automated assistants. Content in both directions is treated as untrusted and may be suspended.
